The Insecure Girls’ Handbook Launches!

Today, after months of hard work, endless emails, a lot of tears, a pretty enormous survey (and lots of GDPR work to boot), a lot of ‘ANOTHER CHAPTER BITES THE DUST’ and so many wonderful conversations with brilliant, brilliant women- it’s finally here, The Insecure Girl’s Handbook has launched and is available to buy. How. Bloody. Surreal. 

There’s a whole lot of prep, nerves and excitement that have been brewing in full force in the lead up to today, but I (we) are so excited to announce that SHE’S HERE. There were times where I didn’t ever think this would happen (the majority of my life, in fact) and to say that today there’s a real life book that we’ve put together- your voices and mine- is absolutely mind blowing. It’s given me nervous butterflies aplenty sharing this, but I hope you’ll love it as much as I’ve loved writing it- and I hope that it makes this big world feel a little smaller and more comforting when you’re struck with a bout of insecurity. Whether that’s a body image blip, friendship fallout, inner critic monologue- or just need a pep talk for some serious self belief before that big meeting. Hopefully this little pink handbook will offer a warm hug and a bit of solace during the trickier times- because like a good reliable pal (or reruns of Fleabag or Paddington 2) it’ll always be there when you need it.

It’s pages are filled with everything from pick-me-up tips, voices from women around the world, interviews with some wildly inspiring people and discussions across everything from your inner critic, body image, friendship, comparison and self belief- I hope that there’s something in there to bring you a little sunshine on an insecure day, and that this handbook can be the perfect companion when you need it most. It’s a continuation of the wonderful community online, for days when you’d rather leave your phone in your desk draw and escape a little in to some pages instead- because I know that feeling all too well.

I’ve popped a list of some of the amazing retailers that will be stocking it below- but if you happen to be swinging by a real life shop, I know you might be likely to find it stacked on those shelves too. 

Thank you all so much for bearing with me, your kindness, openness, vulnerability, generosity, support and huge cheerleading from the word go with this club. Your voices are what breathes life into these pages, and without you this wouldn’t exist. You are the absolute best bunch and I hope you love it.
